Go to Products/Services to check and manage your products list.

  1. Click “Add” to create a new product. 
  2. Select "Actions" drop down menu from a single product 
    • Click "Edit" to update it. 
    • Click "Delete" to delete it. If the product is already adopted elsewhere (like inventory or sales/purchase documents), you will be reminded that this product is not able to be removed.

 


Reminder:

Product management is the base of any document generation on Pymlo, and we'd recommend to configure it first right after you activate a new business profile.



Manage products for selling

Now let's help Jessica to add a new product. 


  1. Click "Add” to create a new product. 
  2. Set a recognizable Product Name.
  3. Set Product Code (optional). This code must be unique.
  4. Set Description (optional). 
  5. "Fried Rice" is created for selling, so select "Income" tab and check "Selling this". 
  6. Set Revenue Account as "Sales revenue". 
  7. Set Selling Price. 
  8. Click "Save". "Fried Rice" has been in your product list, and you can select it when issuing quote/invoice. 
  9. Set a Default Sales Tax if required, such as VAT, GST, or GTGT.

 


 



Manage product for buying and selling




Now let's create "Coke". Jessica buys cokes for 4 baht and sells 10 baht in her restaurant.

  1. Click "Add” to create a new product. 
  2. Set a recognizable Product Name.
  3. Check "Selling this". 
  4. Set Revenue Account as "Sales revenue". 
  5. Set a default Selling Price.
  6. Also check "Buying this". 
  7. Set Expense Account as "Cost of Sales". 
  8. Set a default Buying Price.
